I am Md. Gousiya Begam , w/o Mr. Afzal , aged: 46 years ,resident of Narsimhulapet. My husband is working as a Village Revenue Assistant (VRA) in Narsimhulapet mandal from past 10 years. He is getting salary Rs.10500/- per month. Earlier has worked as cycle mechanic. He got the jobs after demise of his father, he is appointed as VRA in place of his father.

Md.Gousiya Begum (Client), aged: 46 years. She is working as a tailor and stitches school uniforms, saree and blouse works. She is earning Rs.4000 to Rs.5000 per month.They have 3 sons.

1st & 2nd sons are twins. 1st Son name is Md.Imran, aged: 24 years, He is completed ITI-Mechanic in Govt.College, Thorrur mandal. Now he is working in one of the AC Company in Hyderabad from last 3 years as a mechanic. He is getting Rs.10000/- salary per month. His food and accommodation abide by the company. He is send the money of Rs.8000/- to his family (parents). He is unmarried.

2nd Son: Md.Irfan: aged 24 years: He is completed intermediate (CEC) at Govt. college, Thorrur. He is physically handicapped (Leg-Movement not properly). He is living with parents. He is going with his father everyday for helping his father works. He is unmarried.

3rd Son: Md.Imthiyaz: Aged: 22 years. He is completed ITI-Mechanical in Govt. ITI College, Thorrur. Now he is working from 2 years in Maruthi Car Showroom in Thorrur as a Mechanic. He is getting salary Rs.7000/- per month. He is living with his parents.

This family is regular member in our Pragathi MFI since 10 years. This family total savings Rs.16000/- in Pragathi MFI. This family has taken 4 loans from MFI. 1st Loan – Rs. 10000/- Utilised for purchase of Sewing machine. 2nd Loan -15000, 3rd Loan-10000 – utilized for children’s education 4th Loan-15000 - domestic purpose.

Earlier this family lived in a thatched house with iron sheets roof. In the year of 2007 housing subsidy scheme has sanctioned under Indira Aawas Yojana (IAY) and allotted Rs.27000/- only. They have expended Rs.85000/- (including scheme money – Rs.27000) for pillars and roofs for 2 rooms.

In the year 2017 March, GFS has organized a meeting on Habitat housing scheme this family was attended. They concerned our office and applied the loan under completion of unfinished home. GFS has sanctioned Rs.75000/- to this family. The estimation cost of Rs.89000/- by TO. The sweat contribution is Rs.12000/- worth. Total money spent of Rs.130000/- (Excluding spent of Rs.85000 in 2007 year). They have started the pucca house with 2 rooms., 1 Hall and 1 bedroom. Then they have completed the house. Before this house construction 4 family members lived in a congested single room house with iron sheets roof shed. During summer they used to face lot of problem due to sever heat. Now they are living with very happy.
